The Calibrator360©is a unique multi-rater assessment designed to help leaders target behaviors for development that will enhance their performance and improve their career success. It focuses on eleven behavioral dimensions proven to be associated effective leader performance.
- Volatile– Emotions associated with a leader’s performance.
- Distrustful– Level of trust and alertness for signs of deceptive behavior in others.
- Cautious– Behaviors indicating a leader’s risk tolerance, fear of failure, and handling of criticism.
- Aloof– Manner of dealing with others.
- Resistant– Approach to work requests made by others.
- Arrogant– Self-confidence, fearlessness, and willingness to admit mistakes.
- Mischievous– Adventurous, risk-seeking, and limit testing nature.
- Dramatic– Extent to which a leader is gregarious, outgoing, and attention seeking.
- Eccentric– Extent to which a leader is innovative, creative, and potentially eccentric.
- Meticulous– Approach to work, details, and performance standards.
- Deferential– Loyalty, dependability, and organizational citizenship.
The items associated with each behavioral dimension are structure on a continuum from one (low score) to eight (high score). Lower scores indicate the absence or under use of a behavior. Higher scores indicate the excessive or overuse of a behavior. The following is example of the report format:
The Calibrator360©differs from other multi-rater tools in that it approaches performance from the standpoint that the under or over use of behaviors can be detrimental. Leaders that overuse certain behaviors can suffer consequences as serious as employment termination. Underuse, or the absence of certain behaviors, can result in a leader being passed over for career opportunities.
