Reputation Development Model

Our focus on reputation change alters the way leaders should approach their own development. Traditional leadership development efforts are person-centered focusing on behavior change. Emphasizing reputation change requires leaders to look beyond behavior change and focus on areas likely to have the greatest positive impact on their reputation and, consequently, will enhance their career outcome opportunities. To leverage our focus, we created the Reputation Development Model to capture the basic steps in achieving positive reputation change.
